From August 29 to September 2, Da Nang International Airport welcomed 687 flights, an average frequency of 137 flights/day (an increase of 18.4% compared to the same period in 2024). Of which, 395 domestic flights (an increase of 22.7% compared to the same period in 2024), an average domestic frequency of 79 flights/day; 292 international flights (an increase of 14.7% compared to the same period in 2024), an average international frequency of 58-59 flights/day. At Da Nang International Airport, flights continuously take off and land at the airport, flights from Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Vinh and some other provinces and cities have a very large number of arrivals.
The same situation occurs at bus stations, when passenger buses from provinces such as Quang Ngai, Thua Thien Hue, Nghe An, Gia Lai... also increase sharply in number of passengers, but the buses still meet the travel needs of the people. This shows the excitement of road and air tourism .
At Da Nang International Airport, the atmosphere is bustling from the waiting room to the baggage carousel. Groups of tourists, both Vietnamese and international, are beaming and eager to come to the coastal city.

Mr. Pham Van Hoang (a taxi driver) shared: “These past few days, I have been running non-stop, mainly taking passengers from the airport to the hotel, vice versa, and to tourist attractions. Everyone is very excited, the tourist atmosphere is much more vibrant.”
At Da Nang City Central Bus Station, passengers returned for the new working day after the holiday, focusing on routes to Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, Nghe An... and the Central Highlands provinces.
A representative of the station management unit said that there are currently more than 700 vehicles entering and leaving the station every day. During the peak period of the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, the number of vehicles increased by about 30-40% compared to last year.
Previously, the unit proactively coordinated with the authorities to strengthen support work, ensuring security and order during peak times. The number of passengers increased, leading to more tickets issued. We worked with transport units to ensure enough vehicles operating on the route, best serving the needs of passengers.
The goal is to not leave anyone stranded at the station without a ticket. The unit has a plan in place with many options ready.
Arriving at Da Nang Station at the end of the holiday, the waiting room was bustling with passengers and their families picking them up and dropping them off. Families, groups of young people and foreign tourists were checking in to prepare to leave the station after their holiday in Da Nang.
Services here are enhanced, from information desk, security to cleaning. Friendly, professional staff, always ready to support visitors.

Ms. Tran Phuong Thao (from Thanh Hoa province) said that her family sent her son to study at the University of Technology (University of Da Nang) and combined it with a trip to Da Nang city on the occasion of National Day. "I was very happy to be in the city for the first time but everything went smoothly, the family had a memorable vacation," Ms. Thao shared.
Mr. Doan Kim Tuan, Captain of the Passenger Transport Team (Da Nang Railway Transport Branch) said that on average, Da Nang station receives more than 3,000 passengers per day, and during the holidays, the number of passengers suddenly increases to 5,000. Currently, the station regularly maintains 8 pairs of trains, and on the occasion of the September 2 holiday, an additional pair of trains from Hanoi to Da Nang has been added to serve the travel needs of the people. This year's ticket prices have increased by about 5% depending on the route, with evening trains usually being more expensive than daytime ones...
Although there has been some local pressure on traffic and service operations, in general, the organization, coordination and service work has been implemented promptly and effectively by the authorities. This is a positive signal, affirming the position of Da Nang on the national and world tourism map.
With this development momentum, if we continue to focus on infrastructure investment, improve service quality and promote the spirit of hospitality, Da Nang can completely become a leading destination in the region in the near future.
