The program was organized by Nam Giang Charity Association in coordination with Tam Lanh Family Group ( Da Nang city), with the name "Uncle Ho's Tet returns to the people in the highlands".

To organize this meaningful program, members of Nam Giang Charity Association were present from 3am to prepare gifts and ingredients to cook free meals.
Some people light the stove, some wrap gifts, some set up the stage backdrop... everyone is working hard with the desire to bring the needy a complete Independence Day.
Mr. Tran Tan Tai, Chairman of Nam Giang Charity Association, said that in this charity event, the unit coordinated to give away more than 100 gifts, including: rice, instant noodles, fish sauce, MSG, sugar, milk, dried fish and lucky money envelopes of 100,000 VND.
Gifts were given directly to poor families and students before the new school year with school supplies such as: bags, pens, notebooks... with a total cost of nearly 70 million VND.
In addition, the program also brought a solidarity meal to nearly 300 people of Pa Dau 2 village. In the middle of the mountains and forests, the Co Tu people gathered together, enjoyed a common meal, and shared the joy of the nation's important day.
Independence Day in the highlands is not only a day to celebrate a historical milestone, but also an opportunity for the community to affirm its cultural identity, foster solidarity and place its faith in the future.

After the meal, the atmosphere became even more bustling with performances of art, dance and singing praising the Party, Uncle Ho and the people of the mountainous region; together reviewing the heroic traditions, affirming the cultural identity of the ethnic groups on the glorious path ahead.
“In the highlands, National Day is not simply a holiday, but a community cultural festival. This is an opportunity for people to review the history of the struggle for independence, affirming their pride and solidarity.
Therefore, through this charity program, we hope that the Co Tu people in Pa Dau 2 will increase their confidence and motivation to continue preserving and promoting traditional cultural values in the community," Mr. Tai shared.

Mr. Alang Um, Party Secretary of Pa Dau 2 village, said that local people always consider Independence Day as the biggest festival of the year, just after Lunar New Year. It has become a tradition that every September 2, people gather, organize dances, sing, and cook meals together to celebrate the country's founding day.
According to Mr. Um, this year the local people are happier because they celebrate National Day with the support of charity organizations. The gifts, although not large in material terms, contain sentiments and warm sharing.
"I hope that meaningful programs like this will be maintained regularly, so that people in the highlands can have more spiritual joy and receive material support, and develop together sustainably," Mr. Alang Um emphasized.
