- On the afternoon of September 4, at the Provincial General Hospital, 2 volunteers participated in an emergency blood donation for patients.

Accordingly, on the afternoon of September 3, after being examined at Lang Son General Clinic, patient Hoang Van Thang, Con Chuong village, Tan Doan commune, was transferred to the Provincial General Hospital. Here, the doctors diagnosed the patient with severe anemia and needed an urgent blood transfusion (blood type A) to have enough health conditions to continue performing in-depth and comprehensive examinations. However, the hospital is currently lacking blood type A to transfuse the patient.

Upon receiving information from the patient’s family, the Provincial Red Cross Society notified the Lang Son Live Blood Bank Club. Thereby, two volunteers with the same compatible blood type were available to transfuse to the patient, including Ms. Vu Thuy Lien and Mr. Vi Van Quy, both members of the Lang Son Live Blood Bank Club.

It is known that Lang Son Live Blood Bank Club currently has more than 160 members. Since the beginning of 2025, the Club has had 8 volunteers participating in emergency blood donation to help 8 patients overcome critical conditions. This is a noble act, ready to share drops of blood to bring life to patients in need of blood.
