Locations and headquarters of provincial police units after implementing two-level local government

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Thanh Hoa Provincial Police announced the headquarters of the Provincial Police (headquarters), independent headquarters of units under the Provincial Police according to the new administrative unit address and headquarters, on-duty phone numbers of 166 Ward and Commune Police after the merger (operating from July 1, 2025) so that people can know, proactively contact for work and resolve related procedures.

Pursuant to Decree No. 02/2025/ND-CP dated February 18, 2025 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Public Security , the local police are arranged and streamlined from 3 levels to 2 levels (provincial and communal levels), no district-level police are organized, effective from March 1, 2025.

Implementing the policy of the Politburo and the Resolutions of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of provincial and commune-level administrative units and the non-organization of district-level administrative units, on June 22, 2025, the Minister of Public Security issued decisions to arrange provincial, municipal and centrally-affiliated Public Security according to new administrative boundaries. In Thanh Hoa province, 547 commune, ward and town police stations were arranged into 166 ward and commune police stations, corresponding to the administrative units at the same level.
