On July 7, the Government Office issued Notice No. 352/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Head of the Exhibition Steering Committee at the meeting to deploy the organization of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The two Deputy Prime Ministers welcomed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Government Office , ministries, departments, branches, Hanoi city, provinces and centrally-run cities, Vingroup Corporation and relevant agencies for their efforts and efforts to focus on implementing tasks and work to serve the organization of the Exhibition.
This is the first exhibition event in a series of key activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day. Participating in the successful organization of this exhibition is the pride and responsibility of ministries, departments, branches, localities, and relevant agencies for the development of the country.
The exhibition with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" has a particularly important meaning, is an event to honor history, introduce the outstanding achievements of the Party, State and people in the process of protecting, building and developing the country over the past 80 years; affirm the leadership role of the Party, the management of the State, the consensus, creativity and efforts of the entire nation in the cause of building and developing the country; contribute to promoting the strength of great national unity, with the full and active participation of all central departments, ministries, branches, unions, 34 provinces and centrally-run cities, countries, international organizations, state-owned enterprises and private enterprises.
At the same time, the activity contributes to propagating andeducating the tradition of patriotism, strengthening people's belief in the country's path of innovation and sustainable development, and is an important occasion to promote the image of a dynamic, innovative Vietnam that is deeply integrated with the world. Therefore, ministries, agencies and localities need to carefully review and ensure implementation, meet the very high goals and requirements in organizing and implementing this important Exhibition.
The two Deputy Prime Ministers requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, relevant agencies and localities to urgently focus on implementing the assigned tasks and work in accordance with the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Ministers, the Exhibition Steering Committee and the approved Projects, Programs and Plans, ensuring the prescribed quality and progress, noted:
Regarding the exhibition space and premises, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism urgently completes the handover to the central and local ministries, departments, branches and organizations to receive their exhibition areas; Encourage ministries, departments, branches and localities to promote creativity in their agencies' exhibition areas and spaces, ensuring that they are beautiful, scientific, attractive and in harmony with the ideas of the consulting unit that designed them.
In addition to the indoor exhibition space that has been zoned and arranged, any locality or unit that needs to arrange additional outdoor exhibition space to display and introduce achievements should urgently register with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for appropriate adjustments.
Regarding cultural and artistic space, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnam Television focus on implementing plans to organize art and entertainment programs; at the same time, encourage and welcome localities to register to participate in organizing special art and performance programs to introduce their local culture and identity. The spirit is to create an exciting atmosphere for the whole country towards the 80th anniversary of National Day.
Along with the exhibition space, cultural and artistic space, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism reviewed to have more culinary space to introduce the culinary quintessence of regions across the country; suggested that each locality has a booth to introduce the cuisine, the best dishes, the best specialties of their locality to both introduce and serve people visiting the Exhibition.
By August 15, 2025, basically complete the preparation work for the Exhibition.
Regarding implementation, central ministries, departments, branches, organizations, and People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities shall proactively carry out the assigned tasks in the Exhibition Organization Project issued together with Decision No. 90/QD-BCD dated July 1, 2025 of the Exhibition Steering Committee.
In addition, it is necessary to urgently complete and unify the content of the exhibition outline and design layout of the agency or locality, send it to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for synthesis, processing and planning for coordination, construction and installation, ensuring efficiency, synchronization and unity in organization and implementation.
In case agencies and localities need to adjust the area of the exhibition space, they must proactively work with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to consider and balance appropriately; urgently and actively deploy and implement work related to the exhibition space of their agencies and localities, starting from July 10, 2025 and required to complete before August 15, 2025.
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Industry and Trade, Construction, National Defense, and Public Security shall promptly send a list of participating units to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for synthesis and a plan to arrange the exhibition space in accordance with the overall design of the Exhibition, to be completed before July 10, 2025.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism collects opinions and proposals from agencies and localities and considers and handles them according to its authority, promptly reports to competently on issues beyond its authority, ensuring that all preparations for the Exhibition must be basically completed by August 15, 2025. The Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Exhibition Steering Committee will directly inspect before officially opening the National Exhibition Fair Center and open it to introduce and serve the public and people coming to the Exhibition.
The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism urgently provide guidance and resolve funding for organizing exhibitions.
Due to the limited time left until the exhibition, the large scale of the organization, the large amount of work, requiring ministries, branches, agencies and localities to have high determination and great efforts to well perform the tasks of organizing the Exhibition, ensuring the meaning, on schedule, quality, efficiency and absolute safety.
In that spirit, we request that Ministers, Heads of sectors, heads of agencies and localities focus on directing, making efforts and being creative with high determination to create a truly impressive Exhibition, spreading traditional values, values of patriotism and the aspiration of the nation; At the same time introducing and promoting the achievements of our localities and our country over the past 80 years, creating a strong and convincing impression, attracting a large number of people and the international community.
The National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day will take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center, Co Loa, Dong Anh, Hanoi.
The exhibition introduces and displays the outstanding achievements of the country in 80 years of construction and development in various fields, especially key areas such as: industry-technology; invest-trade; agriculture-rural areas; security-defense; foreign affairs; health, education; culture, sports and tourism.
At the same time, the Exhibition also introduced Vietnamese culture - the country - people with a 4,000-year cultural tradition; the rich cultural diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the richness of resources, products of the three regions and outstanding architectural works of the past and present across the country; introduces green industries and the green transformation and digital transformation journey of Vietnam; Vietnam's aviation and aerospace industry; Vietnam's security and defense industry.../.
