On January 6, the Hanoi Police Traffic Police Department announced that the program to welcome the Vietnamese football team will be chaired by the Department of Physical Training and Sports in the afternoon of the same day. The highlight of this activity will be the parade to welcome the 2024 ASEAN Cup championship trophy. After winning the Southeast Asian championship for the third time in history, the Vietnamese football team will return home on flight VN610, expected to land at Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) at 2:45 p.m. the same day. Hanoi Police have directed functional units to ensure security, order, and traffic safety for the route to welcome the delegation from Noi Bai Airport to the Government Office . The Hanoi Police Traffic Police Department recommends that people participating in cheering and encouraging the team strictly comply with the provisions of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety. At the same time, people need to comply with the regulations of the functional forces, contributing to creating a beautiful image on the festival to welcome the team back. The double-decker bus will take the team from Noi Bai airport to the city center. An ambulance will enter the plane to take player Nguyen Xuan Son straight to the hospital. As scheduled, at 6 p.m. the same day, the Vietnamese team will meet Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the Government headquarters.
