On the morning of July 1, Al Hilal Club caused a shock when they won 4-3 against Man City after 120 minutes and won the right to enter the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup. This victory not only helped Al Hilal players continue their dream of playing in the world tournament, but also helped them earn a lot of money.

According to journalist Ahmed Al Qarni (member of the Saudi Arabian Sports Media Federation), each Al Hilal player will receive 2 million riyals (over 533,000 USD). The club's total bonus fund is about 64 million riyals (17 million USD), including 26 players and 6 members of the coaching staff.
The source confirmed: “Al Hilal Chairman Fahd bin Nafel has agreed to reward each player with a minimum of 2 million riyals for defeating Man City. This is a large amount but it is worth the effort of the whole team. The board wants to recognize the efforts of the players in the match and on the historic journey.”
According to another source, Al Hilal members are paid up to $900,000 each. In addition, the players' wives and girlfriends will receive a new car and a helicopter tour of Saudi Arabia.

Al Hilal is estimated to have received $34 million in prize money from FIFA for reaching the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup. This includes $9.5 million for qualifying, $2 million for the win over Pachuca, $2 million for the two draws against Real Madrid and Salzburg, $7.5 million for reaching the round of 16, and $13 million for reaching the quarter-finals.
If they continue to overcome Fluminense to advance to the semi-finals, Al Hilal will receive an additional $21 million, thereby increasing the total prize money accumulated from participating in the tournament to $55 million. This is the tournament in which Al Hilal "harvests" the largest prize money ever.
The match between Al Hilal and Fluminense in the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-finals takes place at 2:00 a.m. on July 5.
