Since the afternoon of July 4, thousands of people and tourists from all over have gathered at the two squares, eagerly awaiting the special art program. Here, two magnificent stages are ready for special performances. The atmosphere is getting hotter as the big screen on the stage continuously plays documentary films about the homeland, reminding us of the Kinh Bac land with its rich revolutionary tradition and rich cultural colors.
At exactly 19:30, the program began with an important speech by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan. With pride, he emphasized that Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac has been a land of talented people for thousands of years, a "fence" guarding the North of the thousand-year-old capital of Thang Long - Dong Do - Hanoi. History has recorded the glorious victories of this land: From the battle of Nhu Nguyet in 1077 with the first declaration of independence "Nam Quoc Son Ha" (the heroic mountains and rivers of the South); to the victory of Xuong Giang in 1427, which contributed to ending the domination of the Ming invaders; or the Yen The uprising led by De Tham, which demonstrated the indomitable spirit of the nation. Those victories are shining symbols of the ardent patriotism, steadfast spirit, and indomitable will of the Kinh Bac people.

Bac Ninh is proud to be a land of learning, the homeland of many famous people and talents who have contributed to building the country's culture and academics. In particular, Bac Ninh is the cradle of Quan Ho folk songs, a unique art form recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Along with a massive system of historical and cultural relics such as Dau Pagoda, Do Temple, But Thap Pagoda, Phat Tich Pagoda, Bo Da Pagoda, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda..., hundreds of traditional craft villages and a rich treasure of folk culture, all form a sustainable, vibrant and unique Kinh Bac culture.

After more than 28 years of re-establishment, the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang have made constant efforts to rise up and become dynamic growth poles of the Northern key economic region. After the speech of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the atmosphere in the two squares was vibrant and brilliant with the opening light show and the drum performance "Hao khi Kinh Bac" resounding like the sound of the sacred soul of the mountains and rivers, arousing pride in the land of thousands of years of civilization.
During the 90 minutes, a large number of officials and people at two locations and watching on television enjoyed the art program consisting of 3 chapters: The flow of history - A thousand years of culture; From traditional craft villages to the industrial capital of the North; Shining the land of aspirations.
Each chapter is an epic, sophisticated and creative artistic story. The magnificent, modern stage was elaborately staged, combined with 3D Hologram, mapping and Dronelight technology, bringing the audience back to the heroic history of the ancient land of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang. The program was structured with interweaving artistic performances with animated scenes and dialogues, reportage films to create highlights, linking events of the past and present, arousing pride and the will to strive in the new era.
The elaborately and magnificently staged performances such as the scenes "The Buddhist Path", "The Soldier's Shirt My Mother Patched in the Past", "Bac Ninh Shines, Bac Ninh Takes Off"... vividly recreated the historical and cultural flow, unique cultural and religious imprints of Kinh Bac land, affirming the position of Bac Ninh - the cultural, political and economic center of the North.
“On the homeland of quan ho, a ray of sunshine also carries a folk melody…” – the familiar lyrics resound passionately in the mashup “On the homeland of quan ho - Crossing the Thuong River Bridge” filling the space with emotions in the sweet melody of quan ho.
Each melody of "So cau nhu y" and "Doi ca song Cau" performed by People's Artist Thuy Huong and the other singers is soulful, recalling the tradition of matchmaking on both banks of the Cau River for generations.
The program also impressed with the appearance of newly composed songs about Bac Ninh with performances by People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Luong Huy and singers Trong Tan, Bui Le Man, Tran Tung Anh, Bao Tram, Luong Nguyet Anh, Ngoc Ky... immersing listeners in the Kinh Bac cultural space with rich identity.

“Please come back to Bac Ninh for a visit. The festival is bustling and joyful all year round” - The exciting atmosphere was pushed to its climax with the performance “Bac Bling” - a modern music product combined with folk materials performed by singers Hoa Minzy and Tuan Cry with the support of more than 1,500 artists, extras, students from schools and art troupes.
This is a highlight and an unprecedented record in art programs in the province. The performance combines modern music with folk materials, creating a deep impression that makes the audience continuously applaud. The youthful Rap lyrics blend with the image of cultural heritage and traditional craft villages appearing proudly: " Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac for generations / Sweet Quan Ho, brilliant ceramics / Bringing the culture of our ancestors to the world / Let the festival drums resound forever... ".
The audience was delighted by the Dronelight performance that lit up the sky for the first time in the province. In the vast space, immersed in the atmosphere of the grand art night, everyone was moved and proud of the historical tradition and cultural quintessence of their beloved homeland Bac Ninh.

Arriving early to watch the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hao from Yen Phong commune excitedly said: “I have never seen such a grand and emotional outdoor art program. From the sound, light, to the performances, everything is wonderful. This is the first time I have directly watched and enjoyed the voices of famous artists. I am very proud of my hometown and believe that Bac Ninh will develop rapidly in the future.”
Also at the program, the audience had the chance to interact with teacher Nguyen Van Doa - an excellent Physics teacher at Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, who has trained students for many years to compete and win high prizes in Asian and international competitions; and interact with members of Bac Ninh FC Football Club.
The special art program has truly become a symphony of tradition and modernity, spreading pride and new spirit among officials, people of Bac Ninh province as well as tourists from all over the world.
Closing the festival night was a brilliant high-altitude fireworks display. The space was brightly lit like a congratulation to the new Bac Ninh on the path of dynamic and modern development. The art program "Bac Ninh, a thousand years of culture - aspiration to rise in the new era" welcoming the establishment of the new Bac Ninh province left a deep impression, spreading faith and hope for a land that is changing strongly, continuing to affirm its position as a modern industrial - service center associated with preserving and promoting thousand-year-old cultural values.
