Chairman Charoen Pokphand: Strengthening cooperation, expanding investment in Vietnam

The Chairman of CP Group expressed his gratitude for the friendship and trust that the Vietnamese side has placed in the group.

On the occasion of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand's visit to Vietnam from May 15 to 16 and attending the Vietnam - Thailand Business Forum 2025, Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) - Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont and senior leaders of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (CPV), including Mr. Montri Suwanposri - Vice Chairman of CP Vietnam, Mr. Pawalit Ua-Amornwanit - General Director of CP Vietnam and representatives of CPV leaders had a meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the afternoon of May 16 in Hanoi.

Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont respectfully recalled the visit of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to the CPV Food chicken export processing complex in Binh Phuoc province in 2022.

The visit not only encouraged the spirit but also gave strong motivation to the collective of CP Vietnam staff and workers to continue to contribute and expand production and business activities, bringing products to conquer markets in countries in the region and around the world .

On behalf of the group, Mr. Soopakij shared the strategic vision for the coming period with the desire to make CP Vietnam a pioneer enterprise leading and developing food production and processing, expanding export markets globally while focusing on developing human resources, especially the Vietnamese leadership team to contribute more deeply to the Vietnamese economy in the new era.

The Prime Minister asked CP Group to continue to accompany the Government in efforts to promote double-digit GDP growth.

The Prime Minister encouraged the group to promote the application of high technology, digital transformation, optimize value chains and labor productivity, sign long-term contracts with raw material areas, develop deep processing industry of key agricultural products and increase domestic value content.

Chairman of CP Group - Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont affirmed his commitment to long-term development in Vietnam, accompanying Vietnamese farmers to develop a modern and sustainable agriculture.

In particular, the Prime Minister hopes that CP Group in general and CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company in particular will continue to support and accompany farmers and breeders in building a closed chain model - from production to deep processing and export, thereby contributing to building a modern, internationally integrated and environmentally friendly agriculture.

CP Group's Board of Directors and CP Vietnam's leaders attended the Vietnam - Thailand Business Forum 2025.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman Soopakij Chearavanont reaffirmed his commitment to long-term development in Vietnam.

He said that CP Group will continue to expand investment, improve production capacity, promote its role as a bridge to bring Vietnamese livestock products to the world, and continue to stand side by side with the Government and people of Vietnam on the journey of sustainable development in the era of Vietnam's rise.
