Bamboo Capital Chairman Passes Away

(NLDO) - Mr. Kou Kok Yiow has been with the group since its inception and has held positions as an advisor and member of the Board of Supervisors.

According to the announcement on March 17 on the official Facebook page of Bamboo Capital Group (stock code: BCG), Mr. Kou Kok Yiow - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the group passed away on March 8, 2025 due to myocardial infarction, at the age of 63.

Mr. Kou Kok Yiow was born in 1962, has many years of experience in the field of auditing and operating and managing companies in the field of finance and accounting.

Bamboo Capital said that Mr. Kou Kok Yiow has been with the group since its inception and has held positions as an advisor and member of the Board of Supervisors. On April 27, 2024, he was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of this group.

In 2024, Bamboo Capital recorded net revenue of VND1,133 billion, down slightly by 3.8% year-on-year. However, profit after tax in the fourth quarter recovered strongly year-on-year to VND96.5 billion.

Accumulated for the whole year of 2024, Bamboo Capital Group recorded consolidated net revenue of VND 4,371 billion, an increase of 9% compared to 2023. After deducting expenses, the group's profit after tax for the whole year reached VND 844.8 billion, an increase of 393.8% compared to 2023.
