To effectively perform the function of handling administrative procedures for people and businesses, the officers and civil servants of Viet Hong commune have proactively researched, learned and skillfully used word processing software and administrative procedure processes to process quickly, neatly, and without errors.
Public administrative procedures are publicly posted at the place of receiving documents and are digitized on the internet environment.
Currently, 100% of leaders and civil servants work in a digital environment and use digital signatures. The commune is also continuing to review and rearrange the team in a streamlined manner to improve work efficiency.
In Bao Ha commune, after a week of operating the new government apparatus, all activities have been stable, ensuring service to the people and businesses. Due to the large number of people coming to do procedures at the Commune Public Administration Service Center, especially procedures related to land, the commune has expanded the area for receiving and handling procedures and arranged staff to guide, creating the most favorable conditions for the people. Therefore, the handling of procedures here is basically smooth.
Mr. Ban Van Linh, Khe Gia village shared: Because there were many people coming to do administrative procedures, I had to wait, but when it was my turn, the staff guided me very enthusiastically.
In addition to quickly resolving administrative procedures, Bao Ha commune also ensures cultural and social activities and stabilizes social order and safety.
In Nam Cuong ward, immediately after the merger, the ward People's Committee held a meeting to assess the socio -economic development situation in the first 6 months of the year; set out tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2025; approved working regulations and assignment of tasks; approved draft regulations on functions and tasks of specialized units...
The Ward People's Committee has issued operating regulations, assigned tasks to members; at the same time submitted to the Ward People's Council for approval of affiliated units and issued decisions to appoint leadership positions of agencies and units.
Propaganda and mobilization work for people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and respond to emulation movements are given top priority. Nam Cuong Ward also determined to continue to remove difficulties in the shared information system, quickly resolve administrative procedures after the merger, focus on key projects, support businesses, with the goal of striving to become an important economic, cultural and administrative center of the province.
Based on the results achieved before the merger, the ward set out 18 important targets for 2025; built and implemented programs and plans for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; clearly assigned people, tasks, responsibilities, and products to each cadre and civil servant, ensuring smooth and effective operations, serving the people wholeheartedly and thoughtfully.
In the same urgent working atmosphere, in the highland commune of Tan Linh, with the motto "Sticking to the people, close to the area", right from the first days of implementing the two-level local government, the commune organized a conference to perfect the work of cadres, thoroughly grasp the merger policies, continue to implement the criteria for building new rural areas, in which special attention is paid to converting the structure of crops and livestock, applying science and technology in production.

Hopefully, the new government apparatus will continue to promote its leadership and direction role, helping people develop the economy, building an increasingly prosperous and happy life.
From the initial results, it can be affirmed that the operation of the two-level local government of Lao Cai province is gradually proving its clear effectiveness, while opening up a new direction for administrative reform, digital transformation and sustainable development in the new period.
In the coming time, the province will focus on improving the quality of its staff, promoting decentralization and delegation of authority in accordance with the practical conditions of each locality, strengthening inspection and supervision, ensuring that administrative activities are carried out in accordance with regulations, with the right responsibilities and on time. Strive for 100% of communes and wards in the area to be qualified to handle administrative procedures of the people right at the locality, contributing to building a professional government, taking the satisfaction of the people as a measure.
