Mr. Nguyen Dinh That, Chairman of the Huong Tu Tam Club, said that when receiving the call from the Association for the Support of the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients of Dong Nai Province, everyone enthusiastically participated. From the evening of July 5, the club members moved from Binh Phuoc Province (old) to Family Group No. 1 near the Central Mental Hospital 2 to prepare. At 3-4 am this morning, everyone divided the sticky rice into boxes and transported them to the hospital to give to the patients.

"I was moved very when participating in this program. This is a new experience for me and many other brothers and sisters. When we see mental patients, we forget all our difficulties and realize that there are many people who need help. We hope that charity activities will spread more and more widely so that the poor, the disabled, poor patients, etc. will receive more help," said Mr. That.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien, in more than 20 years of establishment, the Association for the Protection of the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients has organized many meaningful programs and activities to support vulnerable groups in society. In the first 6 months of 2025, the association supported more than 228,900 disabled people, orphans and poor patients in Binh Phuoc province (old) with a total amount of more than 20.3 billion VND.

Sponsorship activities include: medical support (lens replacement surgery, support for hospital fees for serious illnesses, medical examination, free medicine, support for purchasing health insurance cards, giving wheelchairs, shaking chairs, organizing free meals); educational support (giving scholarships, giving motorbikes to students); support for improving living conditions (building, repairing houses, building sanitary facilities, regular subsidies, emergency support, giving gifts); livelihood support (vocational training, supporting capital for economic development).

In addition, the association also organizes other sponsorship activities according to local realities. Of which, the two programs "Sharing the pain" and "Aspiration to live" implemented by the association in coordination with the Radio - Television Station and Binh Phuoc Newspaper (old), the Humanitarian Television Program Aspiration to live (Ho Chi Minh City) has created a wide spread. In the coming time, the association will continue to coordinate with Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television to implement these programs.
