The 2024 - 2025 school year has marked outstanding achievements in scientific research activities of Ha Tinh University students with many articles published in prestigious scientific journals at home and abroad.
With a passionate spirit, love for research, exploration and creativity, the learning process in class K14 Mathematics Pedagogy, Ha Tinh University is also the process in which Nguyen Viet Quan trains, forms and develops creative thinking in his scientific research on Mathematics.
Recently, Nguyen Viet Quan became the first student at Ha Tinh University to have a topic published in the international journal Optimization. This is the leading journal in the field of variational analysis and optimization theory with the topic "Some properties of metric projection operators in Hilbert space" . For a highly accurate academic field like Mathematics, to achieve that achievement, in addition to the enthusiastic guidance of the instructor, Nguyen Viet Quan made a lot of effort in the process of implementing the topic and updating new knowledge both in books and in practice.
Ho Thi Suong - a Chut ethnic minority (Class K14B, PreschoolEducation , Faculty of Education, Ha Tinh University) is a shining example of her efforts to excel in studying and scientific research. Together with her research group, Suong conducted the topic "Research on the current situation and training needs of first aid skills for students of the Faculty of Education, Ha Tinh University".
The project was conducted to gain a deeper understanding of the existing first aid knowledge and skills of pedagogical students. From there, it provides a scientific basis for proposing practical solutions, contributing to improving the first aid capacity of future teachers. This project has won high prizes in scientific research competitions at the faculty and school levels and has been published in the Tan Trao University Science Journal - a prestigious scientific forum specializing in publishing research results of individuals, groups, and organizations at home and abroad.
Scientific research is one of the effective learning methods for students. Because in the research process, students can access theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge through many different information channels such as: lectures in class, research documents, books, newspapers on the Internet, or practical products in life... thereby creating for themselves a scientific way of learning and stimulating creativity. This is the reason why in recent times, Ha Tinh University has always encouraged students to participate in scientific research projects with many incentive mechanisms and policies. Thanks to that, the school's scientific research movement has increasingly developed. Many student research projects have won high prizes at ministerial-level scientific awards, the National Student Scientific Research Award - Euréka...
In 2025 alone, Ha Tinh University has 13 outstanding topics selected from 63 research topics in various fields to participate in the student scientific research conference. Many of these topics have been published in prestigious domestic and international scientific journals.
Talking about the school's incentive policies for students in scientific research, Master Duong Quynh Luu, Deputy Head of the Department of External Science Management - Communication, Ha Tinh University said: "The school has prioritized policies and practical support to promote the scientific research movement among students such as: adding points to the learning score at the end of the semester, the end of the course; important criteria for considering scholarships... Those policies have created a dynamic academic environment, promoting scientific research creativity".
The enthusiasm for scientific research and the articles published in prestigious journals by students of Ha Tinh University have affirmed the quality of training and contributed positively to the development of science. This also contributes to equipping students with the necessary skills to become competent and courageous global citizens in the future.
