Ms. Nga joined the association in 2005 in Binh Lieu town (old) and held the position of Vice President of the Women's Union of the town. At that time, the association's work was still difficult and the rate of gathering members to participate was low. Therefore, to gather women to participate, she went to each family to grasp their thoughts and aspirations to promptly encourage and share their difficulties and problems. With her enthusiasm, she gradually gained the trust of the women, bringing the women's movement and the Association's work in the locality to develop more and more.
To make the association movement more and more effective, she actively propagates and mobilizes members to well implement the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and patriotic emulation campaigns and movements launched by the Association at all levels, such as: "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families", "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's", "Women help each other develop family economy "... At the same time, she focuses on consolidating the association's branches and groups, grasping the family circumstances of each member and woman, making a list of difficult households to have directions for support and assistance.
Ms. Nga shared: “We must actively get close to the female members, in order to grasp their thoughts and understand them better in order to come up with appropriate movement activities. Movements need to have flexible ways of doing things and must bring about many practical results, thereby motivating the sisters to participate enthusiastically.”
In implementing models and movements, what made Ms. Nga's deep impression was the activities aimed at the disadvantaged in society. Movements such as "For the poor" and "Helping children go to school" not only contributed to sharing difficulties with poor and single women but also opened up learning opportunities for children in difficult circumstances. Every year, Ms. Nga also mobilized philanthropists to donate books, health insurance and other practical support to poor children, helping them continue to pursue their education. She also boldly established a construction team to undertake construction projects, invest in purchasing machinery and equipment, and create jobs for 20 workers with an average monthly income of 5-7 million VND.
As a person with a passion for ethnic culture, she advised and proposed to local leaders to open Then singing and Tinh lute classes, inviting local artisans to teach Then singing and Tinh lute techniques to students and women's association members. This has contributed to promoting and preserving the art of Then singing and Tinh lute of the Tay ethnic group.
Implementing the program of building new rural areas, she actively mobilized members and people to practice a civilized and cultural lifestyle, eliminate backward customs and practices, and live hygienically. Continuing to maintain the models of "Compost pit with microorganisms", "Green living association", "Turning garbage into money"... contributing to the good implementation of environmental sanitation work and building civilized urban areas.
Ms. Nga shared: “After many years of participating in the association's work, what I have received is not only recognition and rewards from local authorities, but the greatest joy is contributing a little bit to take care of the lives of members, enhancing the role of women in the family as well as in society. Since then, many women have become typical individuals in developing the local economy, escaping poverty, and their families are increasingly prosperous. From July 2025, I will stop participating in the association's work and instead will hold the position of Secretary, Head of Na Lang area (Binh Lieu commune). No matter what position I hold, I will always be exemplary, take the lead, dare to think, dare to do, take responsibility and complete all assigned tasks and above all, I always want to be trusted by the people...".
