
On June 30, the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to announce the Resolutions and Decisions of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units, ending the operation of district-level administrative units, establishing Party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Ho Chi Minh City, communes, wards, and special zones.

At the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi announced the Resolutions and Decisions of the province and city on merging commune-level administrative units, establishing Party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at the commune level.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Do Thi Minh Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Quoi Ward (HCMC), expressed her honor at being entrusted with the important responsibility of Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Quoi Ward.
The Secretary of the Binh Quoi Ward Party Committee expressed his deep awareness of the historical significance of the policy of reorganizing administrative units nationwide. This is not only a change in administrative boundaries, but also a new beginning, a great responsibility before the Party and the people, and a continuation of the trust and expectations of generations of cadres, party members and compatriots.
Binh Quoi Ward was established on the basis of merging and reorganizing Ward 27 and Ward 28, Binh Thanh District. On a land rich in tradition, closely associated with revolutionary history, unique ecological culture and dynamic development of Ho Chi Minh City, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Quoi Ward determined that this is an opportunity to promote internal strength, connect the community, improve the quality of service to the people and build a civilized - modern - affectionate locality, worthy of being a part of the creative and humane urban area - the City named after Uncle Ho.

In her new position, on behalf of the cadres and civil servants of Ho Chi Minh City to receive new tasks after the arrangement, comrade Do Thi Minh Quan pledged to always maintain her stance, viewpoint, and political courage; uphold a sense of responsibility in thinking and acting, and constantly train her political courage and revolutionary ethics.
