According to the Plan, the Department of Culture of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups will preside over and coordinate with a number of Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize support for research, restoration, preservation and promotion of intangible culture of ethnic minorities at risk of extinction.

According to the Plan, the Department of Culture of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups will preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province to organize support for research, restoration, preservation and promotion of intangible cultural heritage of folk songs, dances and music of the O Du and Kho Mu ethnic groups in Nghe An province.

Specifically, organizing training on preserving and promoting the values ​​of folk songs, folk dances, and traditional music of the O Du and Kho Mu ethnic groups, including the following topics: Preserving the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities in general and the O Du and Kho Mu ethnic groups in particular in Nghe An province in the current period; Policies, guidelines, and laws of the Party and State related to ethnic cultural work; Preserving and promoting the values ​​of folk songs, folk dances, and traditional music of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development.

In particular, the training on preserving and promoting the intangible cultural values ​​of Phu La ethnic group in Dien Bien province includes the following topics: Overview of Dien Bien cultural heritage, conservation of traditional festivals, current situation and solutions for cultural development associated with socio-economic development in Dien Bien province at present; Activities to preserve and promote traditional festivals to build unique tourism products of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development.

In particular, organizing training courses on preserving and promoting the intangible cultural values ​​of folk songs, folk dances, and folk music of the Cong ethnic group in Dien Bien province, including the following topics: Preserving the intangible cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities in Dien Bien province in the current period; Deploying the Project on preserving and promoting the values ​​of folk songs, folk dances, and traditional music of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development.

Organize to support research, restoration, preservation and promotion of intangible cultural heritage of folk songs, folk dances and folk music of the Ma ethnic group in Lam Dong province.

In particular, organizing training on preserving and promoting the intangible cultural values ​​of the Ma ethnic group in Lam Dong province, including the following topics: Preserving the intangible cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities in Lam Dong province in the current period; Disseminating some policies and laws of the Party and State related to ethnic cultural work; Preserving and promoting the values ​​of folk songs, folk dances, and traditional music of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development in Lam Dong province.

Along with that, the Department of Culture of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies, units and localities to organize the teaching, guidance and practice of performing traditional folk songs, folk dances and folk music.

Support equipment, musical instruments, and props for organizing performances; Filming, taking photos, and editing documentaries on preserving and promoting the values ​​of traditional folk songs, dances, and music; transferring documentary film products to localities to serve the work of propagating and preserving traditional culture of ethnic minorities.

Ethnic groups will be supported to practice performing traditional folk songs, dances, and music.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires that support for research, restoration, preservation and promotion of intangible cultural heritage at risk of extinction must be based on scientific grounds, comply with professional processes, and respect ethnic cultural characteristics and local practices.

At the same time, promote the role of the community as the subject in activities to preserve intangible cultural heritage; encourage people to actively participate in restoration, practice and teaching programs; ensure effective coordination between central agencies, local authorities, researchers, folk artists and related organizations.

In particular, focus resources on preserving cultural forms that are at risk of disappearing such as festivals, folk songs, folk dances, folk music, and traditional crafts.

The plan was issued to contribute to preserving, restoring and promoting the unique and distinctive intangible cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities that are at risk of being lost, thereby contributing to protecting the cultural identity of the Vietnamese people.

At the same time, promote the teaching, learning and practice of intangible cultural forms in the community, especially among the young generation of ethnic minorities.

Thereby, raising awareness of ethnic minorities, local authorities and the whole society about the role and capacity of cultural subjects, the value of intangible cultural heritage in sustainable development; contributing to building cultural tourism products, creating sustainable livelihoods for local people on the basis of promoting traditional cultural values.
