On June 18, Mr. Tran Phuoc Hien - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee - chaired a meeting on selecting the location and planning the resettlement area in Dung Quat Economic Zone.

Therefore, the need for resettlement is increasing. To create the most favorable conditions for investors to implement large projects, the province needs to pay attention to building resettlement areas in a timely manner, contributing to promoting project progress.

These resettlement areas will be invested in the period 2026-2030. Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board estimates the total investment at nearly 2,000 billion VND.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Phuoc Hien said that the implementation of resettlement areas must be consistent with the plans approved by competent authorities, ensuring consistency, unity and effective service for the projects.
When implementing, it is necessary to organize to collect people's opinions, show openness and ensure that resettlement areas meet people's aspirations, housing needs as well as long-term livelihoods.
