Treasury works through the holidays, giving gifts on September 2 to people via bank transfer and in person

The State Treasury said it has arranged staff to work throughout the holiday to give September 2 gifts to people nationwide from August 30 to September 2.

In a telegram recently sent to the directors of the State Treasury of the regions, the directors of the State Treasury requested that the regional treasuries arrange for civil servants (including leaders and specialists) to work throughout the September 2 holiday (from August 30 to September 2) to promptly pay and make payments for gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Previously, the Politburo concluded that the Government had issued a resolution on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The Prime Minister also signed an official dispatch on giving 100,000 VND/person to all people to celebrate Independence Day.

The State Treasury requests that State Treasuries of regions coordinate with People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to implement gift giving to people according to the guidance of the Ministry of Finance.

At the same time, coordinate with commercial banks where the State Treasury opens accounts to ensure smooth and timely payment and gift disbursement to people by bank transfer and cash.

The allocation of the budget and implementation of gift spending are accounted for in source code 25 - social security budget, item type 398 - policies and activities serving social protection beneficiaries and other beneficiaries according to regulations in Circular 324/2016/2016 of the Ministry of Finance.
