Driver's license revoked, still transports 38 passengers on the highway

On July 7, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6, Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) arranged for 38 passengers to transfer to another vehicle to continue their journey; at the same time, consolidate the records to handle related organizations and individuals.

Police sealed the violating passenger vehicle.

According to initial information, on the evening of July 6, the working group of Traffic Police Team No. 6 inspected a sleeper bus with license plate number: 51B-413.26 driven by driver HTS (residing in An Giang ), at the intersection of km135 of Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway, in Vinh Hao commune, Lam Dong province. At that time, the driver could not present a driver's license, the bus was carrying 38 passengers.

Through electronic data search, the traffic police discovered that this driver had had his driving license revoked due to a previous traffic violation in Quang Ngai province. Traffic Police Team No. 6 drew up an administrative violation report against driver S. for not having a driving license; and drew up a report for handling over the vehicle to an unqualified person to operate the vehicle.

Traffic Police Team No. 6 made a record to temporarily confiscate the vehicle registration certificate, sealed and temporarily detained the sleeper bus; at the same time, requested the vehicle owner to contact another bus to transfer the 38 passengers to continue the journey.
