On December 1, the Office of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province announced that Mr. Vo Van Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of the province, signed decisions to appoint the positions of director and deputy director of Quang Tri General Hospital.
Specifically, Mr. Phan Xuan Nam, Deputy Director of Quang Tri General Hospital, was appointed as the hospital director, replacing Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan who retired according to the regime. The term of appointment is 5 years from December 1.

Mr. Nam is 53 years old this year, from Quang Tri Town (Quang Tri), is a specialist in ENT. Mr. Nam used to be an ENT doctor, Head of Personnel Organization Department, Deputy Director of Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province also decided to appoint Master, Doctor Le Van Lam (Head of the Department of Intensive Care - Anti-Poison) to hold the position of Deputy Director of Quang Tri General Hospital.
Mr. Lam is 51 years old this year, from Vinh Giang commune, Vinh Linh district (Quang Tri). During many years working at Quang Tri General Hospital, Mr. Lam has made many contributions, most notably with his colleagues applying the method of "infusing beer to detoxify alcohol" to save the lives of many patients.
Regarding personnel work, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province signed a decision to transfer Mr. Nguyen Chon Hoa (Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Trieu Phong District Party Committee) to work and appoint him to the position of Deputy Chief Inspector of the province; appoint Mr. Thai Huu Lieu (Head of the International Cooperation Department - Department of Foreign Affairs) to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
