Impressions of the Vietnamese Delegation at the World Youth Festival 2024

Waving to the Vietnamese delegation, spectators stood on both sides of the road singing along to songs praising the country, the people and the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people. Vietnam delegation attends World Youth Festival 2024.

Within the framework of the World Youth Festival 2024 being held in Sochi, Russian Federation, on March 4, at Sirius Stadium, the parade of delegates from various countries took place - one of the most anticipated activities of the Festival.

Delegates from different countries dressed in eye-catching costumes marched with their national flags along the 2024 World Youth Festival venue.

The parade began with a drum team and stilt walkers, many of whom carried the friendly cartoon character Cheburashka with big ears – this year’s festival mascot.

The procession marched along Sirius Medal Square, singing vibrant songs and shouting praises of national identity, youth, love and solidarity.

The Vietnamese delegation wore the green shirt of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, carried the red flag with yellow star, a picture of President Ho Chi Minh, the Union flag and a banner printed with the message of solidarity to build the future.

The delegation walked and sang songs praising the homeland, the country, and President Ho Chi Minh. Many spectators stood on both sides of the road waving and shouting "Vietnam" as the delegation passed. Many people sang along, "Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh! Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh!" along with the delegation's steps.

“Vietnam is wonderful! I love Vietnam, I love President Ho Chi Minh!”, many people could not hide their emotions when welcoming the Vietnamese delegation.

The World Youth Festival 2024 will be held in the Sirius Territory in the Krasnodar Region, southern Russia, from March 1 to 7. The youth festival attracts about 20,000 participants from more than 180 countries and territories around the world.

The Vietnamese youth delegation participated in the World Youth Festival 2024 with a message of peace, integration and development. Through this festival, Vietnam has more opportunities to promote the country's image, as well as its socio-economic development achievements after 49 years of national reunification and nearly 40 years of renovation.

A musical performance imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity.

During the seven-day Festival, young leaders in the fields of science, culture, education, sports, media, business, charity, volunteering, international cooperation and other fields join together to contribute initiatives and design a better future for humanity.
