Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee has just approved the feasibility study report for the project to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road 1. This is a vital traffic route connecting Dak R'lap district and Tuy Duc border district.

The route with a length of more than 25.6km will be upgraded synchronously with a 9m wide roadbed, of which the road surface occupies 6m, each side is 1.5m wide.
The project has a total investment of 600 billion VND from the central budget. Of which, the total construction cost is more than 400 billion VND.
The remaining part is for tasks such as site clearance, management and handling of contents related to resource exploitation in the project implementation area . The project investor is the Dak Nong Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board.
Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee has assigned Dak R'lap District People's Committee and Tuy Duc District People's Committee to coordinate in site clearance work, with an area to be recovered of more than 23 hectares.

The investment in Provincial Road 1 is part of the strategy to improve the transport system in Dak Nong. In recent years, many other routes such as Provincial Roads 2, 3 and 5 have also been upgraded with a total investment of about 800 billion VND from the central budget. These projects will be completed in 2025.
