Latest match schedule of U23 Vietnam at the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 tournament

TPO - The 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship will take place in Indonesia from July 15-29. The Vietnam U23 team will participate in the tournament as the defending champion, aiming to successfully defend the No. 1 position.

Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will face Laos U23 in the opening match on July 19 before playing the second match against Cambodia U23 on July 22. Below is the tournament schedule:

According to the draw results, the U23 Vietnam team is in Group B with Cambodia and Laos. The host team Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam are also in Group A.

Meanwhile, Group C has 3 teams: Thailand, Myanmar, Timor-Leste. The teams will compete in a round robin to determine the 3 group winners and 1 second-place team with the best results to advance to the next round. The semi-finals and finals are scheduled to take place on July 25 and 29, respectively, at the "fire pan" Gelora Bung Karno.
