On the afternoon of June 20, upon receiving information that a patient at the Department of Trauma and Orthopedics ( Nghe An Provincial General Hospital) was in critical condition, needing an urgent transfusion of 700ml of blood for surgery, while none of his relatives were eligible to donate blood, Nghe An Provincial Police immediately issued an urgent call for support.
Upon receiving the information, four young soldiers from the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, including Senior Lieutenant Vuong Dinh Duy, Lieutenant Le Van Giang, Corporal Nguyen Ba Quang Huy, and Private Dinh Van Quyen, volunteered to donate blood immediately after completing their mission.
