At the meeting, Mr. Mai Phong Phu, Deputy Director in charge of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, said that this year the province issued a plan to auction 37 land plots. Up to now, the center has developed an auction plan for 20 land plots.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Provincial People's Committee approved 17 auction plans. The Center selected an auction organization and publicly posted information on 3 plots of land, but there were no participants, so these auctions were unsuccessful.

It is expected that in August, the center will auction 18 land plots with a total value according to the land price list of about 8.6 trillion VND. In September, it will auction 7 land plots with a total value according to the land price list of about 2.5 trillion VND and in October, it will continue to auction 9 land plots with a value of about 9.5 trillion VND. In parallel with the auction of new land plots, the land plots that have been auctioned but not successfully will continue to be auctioned for the second and third times.

In addition, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center proposed to amend and supplement the land auction plan. Specifically, it proposed to remove 3 land plots from the list, and at the same time add new ones and adjust the auction time for 8 other land plots.

At the meeting, departments, branches and localities reported on the progress of implementing tasks under their authority, clearly stating the contents that need to be implemented in the coming time. The units also proposed adjusting the auction plan to prioritize focusing on large-area, high-value land plots that are likely to be successfully auctioned this year; at the same time, they proposed adding some land plots in Binh Phuoc province (old) to the province's new land auction plan.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized that land auction is an important and urgent task to increase state budget revenue, accelerate disbursement of public investment capital and promote the implementation of projects according to approved planning. Currently, problems related to land valuation as a basis for establishing starting prices and personnel performing tasks related to auctions have been basically resolved.

In the coming time, departments and branches, especially the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, need to focus more on this work. In the immediate future, priority should be given to "golden" land plots with clean land to organize auctions before August 30. At the same time, urgently develop and advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a new or adjusted land auction plan for 2025.

Previously, on March 5, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 79/KH-UBND on land use rights auction in 2025 in Dong Nai province. Accordingly, this year the province will auction 37 land plots with a total amount according to the land price list of nearly 21 trillion VND.
