According to data from the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training, there are 29 high schools with a benchmark score of 15 or less, or an average of 5 points/subject.
Of these, there are 6 schools with a benchmark score of 10, an average of 3.3 points/subject. These schools are all located in the suburbs.
The 10 high schools with the lowest 10th grade admission scores in Hanoi this year include Xuan Khanh, My Duc C, Bat Bat, Ung Hoa A, Minh Quang, Tho Xuan, Bac Luong Son, Dai Cuong, Luu Hoang and Ung Hoa B.

This year, the formula for calculating the 10th grade admission score in Hanoi has changed. Math and literature are not calculated with a coefficient of 2. The maximum admission score is 30.
This year, Hanoi has 119 public high schools enrolling nearly 80,000 students, an increase of about 3,000 compared to last year. The admission rate is about 64%. Of these, 115 non-specialized schools enroll 78,400 students, and 4 specialized schools enroll more than 2,700 students.
