Scene of sleeper bus accident

On the morning of August 18, a traffic accident occurred on National Highway 27C, through Da Sar commune, Lac Duong district, Lam Dong province.

The accident did not cause any human damage but caused many passengers to panic and had to break the glass doors to escape.

According to initial information, at around 4 a.m. the same day, a double-decker sleeper bus with license plate 51B-295.76 of Phuong Trang company was traveling from Nha Trang to Da Lat.

When approaching a curve before Da Sa bridge (km 108+639 National Highway 27C, about 20 km from Da Lat city center), the car suddenly veered to the left, crashed through the guardrail and plunged into the abyss below the bridge. The car only stopped when it reached the stream bank, about 5m from the road surface.

Fortunately, the bus did not flip over, so the driver and passengers broke the rear window to escape. At the time of the accident, there were about 10 passengers on the bus, but all were safe and no one was injured. The bus also suffered damage to the front of the bus.
