"Capital" of beach tourism
Mr. Huynh Phi Khanh, Chairman of Ho Tram Commune People's Committee, said that after the merger, this locality has a natural area of more than 94 km², with a population of nearly 52,000 people; the main economic pillars are high-quality services - tourism and high-tech agriculture associated with tourism development.
Ho Tram Commune is considered the "capital" of sea tourism, with 41 tourism projects in the area currently approved for investment. Of these, 12 tourism projects have been put into operation with an area of about 295 hectares; total investment of more than 5,489 billion VND and 4,230 million USD.

In addition, there are 11 projects under construction with an area of over 93 hectares; the total estimated investment is nearly 6,000 billion VND and 6.8 million USD. In the first 6 months of 2025, there were about 3 million visitors coming to visit, swim and relax at tourist areas, attractions and public beaches; of which international visitors accounted for more than 915,000. Revenue is estimated at more than 3,340 billion VND.

Mr. Huynh Phi Khanh said: "Transportation infrastructure is considered an important lever for tourism in Ho Tram commune in the future. In particular, Long Thanh international airport, when put into operation, will create opportunities for the southern sea to access an abundant number of visitors, especially international visitors, expected to reach 25 million per year".
The Ho Tram urban expressway - Long Thanh international airport has started construction, when completed, it will contribute to perfecting the external transport network, helping to strongly develop the tourism and service industry towards international standards for the Ho Tram area. "The investment in building this new expressway will open up space for new urban development, services, and industry, contributing to the good implementation of the national tourism planning, maximizing the advantages of the economic potential of sea tourism of Ho Tram commune as well as coastal localities...", Mr. Khanh added.

In addition, the completion of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway project will help connect the Ho Tram area with the provinces in the Mekong Delta, ready to welcome domestic tourists from the Southwest region.
Currently, Ho Tram commune has a series of large real estate corporations such as Charm Group, Novaland , Hung Thinh investing in projects; including the Grand Ho Tram project, a explosive resort combined with a golf course on the beach.

"In addition, we also build and publicize hotline numbers; mechanisms for receiving and handling feedback from tourists at tourist areas and tourist attractions via hotlines to promptly resolve visitors' complaints. Promote the image of local tourism on mass media to introduce images, destinations, and tourism products to attract tourists," said Mr. Khanh.
Inspect tourism activities to ensure the business environment at hotels, resorts, tourist attractions, and beaches; require establishments to have plans to ensure safety for tourists swimming in tourist areas, innovate types of tourism services, and improve the quality of tourism products, etc.
Develop a diverse and unique destination system. Restore and upgrade existing destinations (monuments, scenic spots, beaches, conservation areas, etc.); exploit new destinations associated with nature and indigenous culture, such as craft villages, farms, rural markets, walking routes, rural experiences; develop eco-tourism, community tourism, high-end resorts and agricultural tourism; Connect destinations into chains - routes - clusters of unique tourism products.

The Ho Tram tourism development area has an area of about 824 hectares, with the forecast demand for hotel rooms by 2030 of about 4,600 - 5,200 rooms and by 2045 of up to 10,500 - 15,000 rooms.
