The pickleball tournament "Dan Tri 20 years - Bright new day" has entered its second and final day of competition with competitions in the Dan Tri and Friends categories, women's doubles 5.0, men's doubles 5.5 and men's doubles 6.5 at Dai Kim Pickleball Court (Hoang Mai, Hanoi ).

The Dan Tri & Friends event took place on the morning of July 6 with the participation of many singers, models, and actors from the Hanoi Artists Pickleball Club, bringing excitement, freshness, and youthfulness to the tournament.

Notably, this event features the participation of the couple Phan Phuong Linh - Nguyen Que An, who just won the women's doubles 4.5 event yesterday and are considered a strong candidate for the Dan Tri and Friends events.

However, a big surprise happened when Phuong Linh - Que An let the artist couple Hung Min - Yen Ngoc come back to defeat with a score of 11-9 in the 4th knockout round.

In the women's doubles 5.0 event also taking place on the morning of July 6, another big surprise was when two promising players of this event, Phuong Anh and Thuy Huong, were eliminated right from the opening match against the pair Linh Phuong - Huong Lan with a score of 9-11.

During yesterday's competition, Phuong Anh and her teammate Nhung Phan won third place in the Open women's doubles but suffered an injury in the semi-final. This injury recurred on the morning of July 6, causing her to not perform well, leading to her elimination.

"The tournament shows fierce competition when gathering so many excellent athletes. But that also brings appeal to the tournament. I consider this a very professional tournament, from the competition time, referee management, medical support for athletes, 12-eye VAR technology... Although I was eliminated due to injury, I feel satisfied when I succeeded in my goal of standing on the podium in the Open women's doubles event," athlete Phuong Anh expressed.

Meanwhile, sharing with Dan Tri , head of the referee board Dinh Cong Minh admitted that the Dan Tri newspaper pickleball tournament impressed the athletes as well as the referee team with the organization and management work from the Organizing Committee.

The competition schedule is standardized so the athletes feel very secure.
