(PLVN) - Tuyen Quang is orienting to build the Tan Trao National Special Historical Relic Site into a national tourist area and a centerfor educating revolutionary traditions of the whole country.
Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong - Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee has just signed and issued Decision No. 424/QD-UBND on promulgating the project to build Tan Trao National Special Historical Relic Site into a national tourist area; a center for educating revolutionary traditions of the whole country.

When becoming a national tourist area, a center for revolutionary tradition education of the whole country, Tan Trao will be a red address for all classes of people, especially the young generation, making historical tourism a strong tourism product of Tuyen Quang province, contributing to promoting socio -economic development.
Tan Trao National Tourist Area is also expected to attract domestic and international tourists to visit, experience and study the revolutionary history and traditional culture of ethnic groups in the Tan Trao revolutionary war zone, promoting the socio-economic development of Son Duong district, Yen Son district in particular and Tuyen Quang province in general.
The scope of the project is the Tan Trao National Special Historical Relic Site, Son Duong District and Yen Son District, Tuyen Quang Province. The project implementation period is from 2025 to 2030.
It is expected that the total cost of implementing the Project is more than 1,018 billion VND, of which the State budget is 242 billion VND, including 165 billion VND from the central budget and 77 billion VND from the local budget, the remaining socialized capital is more than 776 billion VND.
The project sets a goal of striving to develop tourism in Tan Trao to basically meet the criteria of a National Tourist Area by 2025, attracting over 1 million visitors and completing the project to preserve and restore the Tan Trao National Special Historical Site.

By 2030, the Project will complete 5 goals including the project to preserve and restore the National Assembly Standing Committee relic site; Service business establishments serving 500,000 visitors per year; Accommodation system serving 300,000 visitors, with at least 1 4-star accommodation facility; Building a synchronous, high-quality system of physical and technical facilities; Attracting over 2 million tourists per year.
According to statistics from the People's Committee of Son Duong district in November 2024, the number of tourists to Tan Trao relic site in 2024 is estimated to reach 950,000, including 800 international visitors. The total revenue of Tan Trao tourist site in 2024 is expected to be 1,100 billion VND.
The Tan Trao National Special Historical Relic Site “is part of the most important revolutionary historical relic system of the Vietnamese nation’s history in the 20th century”, with 183 relics, including 41 national relics, 50 provincial relics and many famous relics, such as Na Nua hut, Tan Trao communal house, Hong Thai communal house, Tan Trao banyan tree, Hang Bong hut, Khau Lau - Vuc Ho, Dong Man - Lung Tau, President's Palace - Prime Minister's Palace.
