On the evening of April 15, a leader of the Binh Dinh Provincial Historical Archives Center - the organizer of the exhibition "The formation of the national language in Binh Dinh" - confirmed that the exhibition ended on April 12.

This is quite a sudden decision because previously, the exhibition announced that it would last from April 5 to June 30.

Along with the early end of the exhibition "The formation of the national language in Binh Dinh", the activity scheduled to take place within the framework of the exhibition, the discussion "Examining Tran Duc Hoa and the embryonic formation of the national language in Binh Dinh" scheduled to be held on April 25, was also not carried out.

According to this person, the center originally planned to hold the exhibition until June 30.

When the exhibition opened, there were opinions from researchers and experts affirming the role of Binh Dinh province as the only place where the national language was formed, not "one of the places where the national language was formed" as the information on the exhibition's billboard.

According to the leader of the Binh Dinh Province Historical Archives Center, because of such different opinions, the exhibition did not achieve the desired results, so the center decided to end the exhibition earlier than expected.

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the evening of April 15, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province - said that he would review and re-examine information related to this exhibition. But he said "the province's viewpoint is that Binh Dinh is still the place where the national language was born".

As previously reported, the exhibition "The formation of the national language in Binh Dinh" was held from April 5 to June 30.

However, some researchers believe that the information provided by the exhibition has downplayed the role of Binh Dinh province in the process of forming the national language.

They asserted that Binh Dinh is the only place where the national language was born, not "one of the places where the national language was born" as the information provided by the exhibition.
