Awarded more than 200 scholarships to children and students in difficult circumstances

HNN.VN - On August 23, with the support of the "Safe and Healthy" Project sponsored by Blue Dragon International, the Hue City Women's Union organized a scholarship program for disadvantaged students throughout the city.

At the program, the City Women's Union awarded more than 200 scholarships worth nearly 700 million VND to encourage and support students before the new school year.

Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Hue City Women's Union shared: "Although the gift is not big, it contains the affection, responsibility and trust that the City Women's Union sends to the children, hoping that they will continue to make efforts, strive, and achieve many good results in the new school year."

Scholarships are encouragement and motivation for students in difficult circumstances.

This activity contributes to spreading the spirit of sharing in the community, while affirming the role of the Women's Union in caring for, protecting the rights and supporting women and children in the city.
