Researcher Tran Dinh Son introduces to viewers artifacts at the exhibition.

Viewers were overwhelmed by more than 100 artifacts introduced by researcher and antique collector Tran Dinh Son - owner of the Nguyen Dynasty Porcelain Museum.

These are Buddha statues, pen holders, pen holders, tripods, vases, trays, seals, rosaries… originating from Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, dating from the 17th to the early 19th century. All are carved in extremely sophisticated relief. Each artifact is associated with a story, anecdote.

Researcher Tran Dinh Son said that he has spent decades collecting these artifacts. Through this exhibition, he wants viewers to not only admire but also compare artifacts from different countries, thereby understanding more about culture, history and hobbies.

The exhibition opens to the public for two weeks from today, August 28.
