The exhibition introduces outstanding achievements in 8 decades of national construction and development in many fields: Industry - technology, agriculture - rural areas, security - defense, foreign affairs, health, investment - trade, education, culture, sports and tourism.

On the morning of August 28, the opening ceremony of the exhibition of the country's achievements on the 80-year journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness took place at the National Exhibition Center.

The exhibition also depicts the image of the country and people of Vietnam with a thousand-year cultural tradition; the diversity and rich identity of 54 ethnic groups; abundant resources; typical products of the three regions; and typical architectural works from the past to the present.

The highlight of the exhibition is the space displaying green industries, digital transformation journey, aviation - aerospace industry, security - defense industry; space for 12 cultural industries; and the display area of ​​countries with especially important diplomatic relations with Vietnam.

Previously, at the rehearsal, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that the opening ceremony will feature a special art program lasting about 50 minutes. During the opening ceremony, Minister Nguyen Van Hung, Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee, will give an overview of the preparation process and introduce the overall content of the exhibition. Next, the Prime Minister will give a speech, and delegates will perform the ceremony of pressing the button to open the exhibition. At the end of the ceremony, Party and State leaders and delegates will visit the exhibition booths.

The booths at the exhibition are elaborately designed, eye-catching, and have their own unique mark.

The exhibition of national achievements includes 3 sub-areas: General exhibition sub-area (Kim Quy Exhibition House); Outdoor exhibition sub-area (East yard, West yard, South yard, North yard); International exhibition sub-area and 12 cultural industries (Block A Exhibition House).

The general exhibition area (Kim Quy Exhibition Hall) has the theme "Vietnam - Journey to a new era", the general exhibition includes horizontal slices of history and vertical slices of core values, great achievements and immortal legends of the history of building and defending the country of Vietnam, led on an experiential journey containing profound messages.

The subdivision includes 6 exhibition spaces with the following themes: “Vietnam - Country - People”; “95 years of the Party flag lighting the way”; “Development creation”; “Rich province, strong country”; “Economic locomotive”; “Start-up to build the nation”.

The outdoor exhibition area has the theme “Integration and Development”, including: Exhibition space with the theme “For a green future”; exhibition space with the theme “Aspiration for the sky”; exhibition space with the theme “Sword and shield”; exhibition space with the theme “National festival”; space for performing art programs.

The international exhibition area and 12 cultural industries (at Exhibition Hall Block A) have the theme "Integration and creativity", including: Exhibition space with the theme "Creativity for construction" and Exhibition space with the theme "Vietnam and the world".

Some activities and events within the framework of the exhibition of national achievements such as:

August 28 (Thursday): The opening ceremony will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the National Exhibition Center, broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam.

Along with that are performances, exchanges between art units, provinces and cities; talk shows, exchanges, experiences of the game industry and other cultural and artistic activities. Location at the square stage of block A

August 29 (Friday): Forum "Application of artificial intelligence AI in the digital age"; workshop "The role of data in the digital age" (chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology) at the Event Room of the National Exhibition Center. Especially, the art program chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee at the North yard (free tickets).

August 30 (Saturday): At 8:00 p.m., there will be an art program hosted by the Ministry of Public Security at the North Stadium (free tickets).

August 31 (Sunday): At 8:00 p.m., the art program "Hanoi - Forever the Aspiration of Vietnam" will take place, hosted by the Hanoi People's Committee at the North Stadium (free tickets).

September 1 (Monday): Performances, tours, and art exchanges between provinces and cities.

September 2 (Tuesday): At 8:00 p.m., art program hosted by Hue City People's Committee at North Stadium (free tickets).

September 3 (Wednesday): Performances, tours, and art exchanges between provinces and cities.

September 4 (Thursday): At 9:00 a.m., Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City Business Forum chaired by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee at the Event Room.

September 5 (Friday): The closing ceremony takes place at 8:00 p.m. at the North Stadium with the art program "80 years - The road to glory", broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam.

The exhibition of national achievements will be open from 9am to 10pm from August 29 to September 5; on August 28, it will be open to the public and visitors from 1pm.
