This is the first time a photo book has been carefully compiled, vividly recreating the century-long journey of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism.

The book is over 370 pages thick, compiled in Vietnamese and English, and is a treasure trove of more than 1,000 rare photos and documents, selected from many reputable archives and collections. These images and documents are arranged according to historical periods: 1925-1945, 1945-1954, 1954-1975, 1975-1986, 1986-2000 and 2001-2025, clearly depicting the formation, development and great contributions of the Vietnamese revolutionary press in the struggle for independence and national reunification, as well as the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The highlight of the book is the meticulousness in exploiting and selecting materials. Each photo comes with detailed captions, providing information about the context, characters and historical significance, helping readers easily visualize important milestones. From images of President Ho Chi Minh and previous leaders of the Party working as journalists; moments of journalists working in the fierce battlefield and entering "hot spots" in peacetime; the book is like a visual chronicle, depicting the brave and creative spirit of journalists.

The book also emphasizes the role of revolutionary journalism ineducating ideology, orienting public opinion and refuting false arguments. In particular, in the context of digital transformation and the development of artificial intelligence, this photo book is not only a work looking back at the past but also a source of inspiration for young journalists to continue to innovate, uphold professional ethics and the mission of serving the interests of the nation.

The book is presented in Vietnamese and English, so it is not only for journalists or media researchers, but also a valuable document for anyone who wants to learn about modern Vietnamese history. Researchers, students or international readers interested in Vietnamese culture and history will find here a valuable source of reference, presented in an intuitive, accessible way.

Beyond the value of a photo book, “100 Years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism (1925-2025)” also contains cultural heritage value, a profound gratitude to generations of journalists who have devoted themselves to the revolutionary cause. Elaborately compiled over a year, with the participation of a team of editors, researchers, veteran journalists and collectors, it has created a work that is both historically valuable and deeply educational and inspirational.

The book is a testament to the power of the pen and images in recording history, and a reminder of the responsibility of the press in the new era. This is an indispensable publication on the bookshelves of those who love Vietnamese history, culture and journalism.
