Connect and spread beautiful values to the audience
In the journey to spread "beauty - culture - intelligence - dedication" - which is also the theme of the Miss Vietnam 2024 contest, after the moments of suspense, surprise and bursting with joy and happiness of the final night on June 27 on the banks of the Perfume River in the dreamy city of Hue , the Top 3 Miss Vietnam were named: Miss Ha Truc Linh, 1st Runner-up Tran Ngoc Chau Anh and 2nd Runner-up Nguyen Thi Van Nhi. And in that journey, with the values and beauty that have been affirmed through the prestigious national beauty contest maintained for the past 37 years, the beauties have been carrying out a series of spreading activities.
During that journey, the Top 3 Miss Vietnam stopped at the People's Army Newspaper on the afternoon of July 2, with an online exchange program with audiences, readers, officers and soldiers across the country.
The program was reported live on the People's Army Newspaper online and livestreamed on digital platforms: Facebook, YouTube, and Tiktok of the People's Army Newspaper.

Before the Top 3 Miss Vietnam 2024 entered the online exchange, on behalf of the Editorial Board of the People's Army Newspaper, Colonel Ngo Anh Thu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Editor-in-Chief; Colonel Pham Duy Hai, Head of Politics and representatives of officers and commanders of departments and offices of the People's Army Newspaper presented fresh bouquets of flowers, a gift of a square-flowered marigold photo taken by a reporter of the People's Army Newspaper in Truong Sa, a silk scarf and a photo book about the National Defense Exhibition (a photo book about the 2024 Vietnam International Defense Exhibition compiled and published by the People's Army Newspaper in coordination with the People's Army Publishing House. The book highlights the great success of the 2024 Vietnam International Defense Exhibition, affirming the position and prestige of the Vietnam People's Army in particular and Vietnam in general in the international arena, leaving a good impression on international delegates about the people in the country) to the Top 3 Misses.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Editorial Board, Colonel Ngo Anh Thu congratulated the Top 3 Miss Vietnam 2024 for winning the highest positions of the contest, demonstrating the beauty, bravery and intelligence of Vietnamese women. The Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper briefly introduced the history and development process of the People's Army Newspaper - a newspaper that has been twice a hero with the Top 3 Miss Vietnam. Accordingly, throughout its nearly 75-year history of construction, development and growth (October 20, 1950 / October 20, 2025), the People's Army Newspaper has affirmed its position as one of the leading revolutionary press agencies, a sharp weapon on the ideological and political theory front of the Party, State and Army. In addition to professional activities, the People's Army Newspaper also carries out many social security activities, so the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper hopes that in the coming time, he will receive the support of the Top 3 Miss Vietnam 2024 with the People's Army Newspaper in carrying out social security activities.

And present at the People's Army Newspaper on a cool afternoon, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, Miss Vietnam 2024 Ha Truc Linh shared that she was very surprised to be able to attend the Newspaper's online exchange program.

“For me, everything happened wonderfully, because I myself did not expect to stand on such a sparkling podium of glory. The three of us have tried very hard together during this time,” Ha Truc Linh shared her feelings about the moment of being crowned Miss.
Expressing her feelings for Uncle Ho's soldiers, Miss Ha Truc Linh said: "I have read many historical documents as well as historical lessons to better understand the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers. The soldiers sacrificed themselves to put the common interest above personal interests." In the new Miss's mind, Uncle Ho's soldiers carry sacred and noble missions, from war to peacetime. Not only brave on the battlefield, the soldiers are always ready to be present on the front lines in peacetime, from remote border areas, outpost islands to hot spots of natural disasters, storms, floods, and epidemics. When the country needs, the people call, the soldiers do not hesitate, do not hesitate to endure hardships, and are ready to rush forward for the love of the Fatherland. Their dedication and sacrifice not only protect the territorial integrity but also protect every human life, every home and peace in the countryside. That is why in the hearts of the people, the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers is always bright and close.

Born into a family with a revolutionary tradition, with her father, sister, and brother-in-law all being soldiers, Chau Anh herself also holds the rank of Second Lieutenant of the Military Academy of Culture and Arts (currently working at the Faculty of Music, University of Culture and Arts of the Army, and majoring in piano at the Vietnam National Academy of Music), First Runner-up Tran Ngoc Chau Anh shared: “When the issue of participating in the Miss Vietnam contest was raised, my parents gave me the right to decide and only said: “We are very worried about the interruption of my studies. Moreover, art requires continuity, our parents love and worry about how I will take care of myself when I am away". But I know that deep down my parents also want their daughter to challenge herself, practice and become more mature, and integrate more into the social environment”.
Expressing her feelings when visiting the People's Army Newspaper and interacting with officers, soldiers and audiences nationwide, First Runner-up Tran Ngoc Chau Anh confided: "Perhaps this is the first time Miss Vietnam has a direct connection with the People's Army Newspaper. It is a connection of tradition, culture, and spirit of dedication to the Fatherland and the people, to spread the beauty and honor the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers."
New mark, new beginning of a journey
During the exchange program, Top 3: Miss Ha Truc Linh, 1st Runner-up Tran Ngoc Chau Anh and 2nd Runner-up Nguyen Thi Van Nhi had open moments of exchange and shared their plans after being crowned.

For Lieutenant Tran Ngoc Chau Anh, the title of First Runner-up is a special and lucky milestone: “I hope I can simultaneously complete my mission in the Army and become the first runner-up of the Miss Vietnam 2024 contest. Coming to the contest, I want to spread the image of women in the Army, disciplined, intelligent, compassionate and ready to integrate. I hope to spread positive values, motivate young people to dare to challenge, dare to dream and strive to conquer their dreams.”
Miss Truc Linh shared her choice to carry out a project called "Everyone is a hero" when asked by Major Dong Thanh Tai, a records clerk, Defense Command of Region 6 (Dak Lak).
“I carried out this project with a group of 4 people. I realized that traffic accidents can happen unexpectedly, so why don't we do a project to equip people with first aid skills to respond when an accident occurs. From there, the idea for our project was born. There is a saying that I really like: "At any moment, you can become a hero if you are equipped with first aid skills", the new Miss said.

As for 2nd Runner-up Nguyen Thi Van Nhi, “I never thought I would participate in a contest, because I thought I was not perfect. When I decided to register for the contest, I was very surprised to receive support, encouragement and companionship from many Hai Phong people. That is also a great honor for me”. Conquering the 2nd Runner-up crown of Miss Vietnam, Van Nhi did not forget to send her deep thanks to the audience for their support and encouragement when the beauty also won the Most Voted Contestant of the contest.
Second runner-up Van Nhi shared: “In the coming 2 years of my term, I think I need to continue to improve myself to be able to contribute and learn from the smallest things. If I have the opportunity, I will continue and spread my charity project.”
