Bulgarian President successfully concludes official visit to Vietnam

The official visit to Vietnam by Bulgarian President Rumen Radev is an important milestone, contributing to promoting relations between the two countries in the new period.

On the evening of November 27, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev left Ho Chi Minh City, successfully concluding his official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of President Luong Cuong.

Seeing off the delegation at Tan Son Nhat International Airport were Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Thanh Binh; Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria Do Hoang Long; and a number of officials from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the visit, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and his wife and the Bulgarian delegation laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; and laid wreaths at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs.

During the visit, General Secretary To Lam received President Luong Cuong; held talks and hosted a reception; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.

At the meetings, talks and conferences, Vietnamese leaders welcomed President Rumen Radev's official visit to Vietnam, in the context of the two countries aiming to celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2025 and congratulated Bulgaria on its many successes in economic development and regional and international integration.

The leaders of the two countries discussed a number of major directions and measures to promote the traditional friendship between the two countries to a new height, strengthen comprehensive cooperation, especially in areas where Bulgaria has strengths and Vietnam has needs such as agriculture, industry, electronics, information technology, artificial intelligence, space research, etc.

On this occasion, the two sides issued a Joint Statement.

During his official visit to Vietnam, the Bulgarian President visited the Vietnam Military History Museum; met with the Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association and Vietnamese friends who studied and worked in Bulgaria; visited and spoke at the Diplomatic Academy; visited Hai Phong city and Ho Chi Minh city; attended the Vietnam-Bulgaria Business Forum in Ho Chi Minh city...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, wife of President Luong Cuong and Ms. Desislava Radeva, wife of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev visited Viet-Bun High-Quality Kindergarten.
