Bayern Munich target Marcus Rashford
According to The Sun, Bayern Munich are considering recruiting striker Marcus Rashford (27 years old) from Man United after witnessing his impressive performance during his loan period at Aston Villa in the 2024/25 season.
At Villa Park, Rashford contributed 4 goals and 6 assists in 17 appearances in all competitions, making a great contribution to helping Villa qualify for the Champions League.
Man United are ready to let Rashford go if they receive an offer worth 40 million pounds ($55 million). As for Bayern, the Allianz Arena team is in need of a winger after the departure of Leroy Sane.
Semenyo extends contract until 2030, Bournemouth keeps key player
Winger Antoine Semenyo has signed a new contract with Bournemouth until the summer of 2030, ending speculation over his future.
Previously, the Ghanaian player was pursued by many big teams in the Premier League such as Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham.
After parting ways with Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen, Bournemouth are determined to keep their remaining key players.
Joining the team in January 2023, Semenyo has played 89 matches, scoring 22 goals. In the 2024/25 season alone, he scored 13 goals, contributing significantly to Bournemouth's 9th place finish in the Premier League.
Konaté rejects Liverpool, possibility of leaving increases
According to Football Insider, centre-back Ibrahima Konaté has rejected the latest contract extension offer from Liverpool.
The player born in 1999 currently only receives a salary of about 89,000 USD/week, while he wants to increase it to about 254,000 USD/week.
Konaté's current contract expires in the summer of 2026, but the failure to reach an agreement makes it entirely possible that he will be sold in this transfer window.
Liverpool are expecting a price of around $50 million. Real Madrid, PSG and Al Hilal are all monitoring the situation closely.
Sporting risk losing Gyokeres for cheap
According to A Bola (Portugal), from July 1, Viktor Gyokeres' contract release clause with a fee of about 60 million euros (65 million USD) officially took effect.
If Sporting reject offers of this level, they will have to pay 10% of the value ($6.5 million) to the Swedish striker's representatives.
Previously, the Portuguese team affirmed that they would not let Gyokeres leave for less than 100 million euros (108 million USD).
However, the above clause is causing them to lose the initiative in negotiations. In the 2024/25 season, Gyokeres scored 54 goals in 52 matches, helping Sporting win the national championship.
Newcastle chasing Marseille's Argentine centre-back
According to RMC Sport, Newcastle are showing special interest in Marseille centre-back Leonardo Balerdi. In addition to the Magpies, Juventus and AS Roma are also said to have submitted preliminary offers.
Coach Roberto De Zerbi is said to be reluctant to lose his hard-working captain. However, offers below 40 million euros ($43 million) are unlikely to convince the Ligue 1 representative.
Balerdi made 27 Ligue 1 appearances last season and has nine caps for Argentina.
Sunderland successfully recruited Habib Diarra
Sunderland, new Premier League club next season, have announced a deal worth around 30 million euros ($32 million) with midfielder Habib Diarra from Strasbourg.
The 21-year-old signed a five-year contract, becoming the club's 10th new signing in the summer of 2025.
Born in Senegal but raised in France, Diarra played for France's youth teams before choosing to play for the Senegal national team.
After 11 appearances for the “Teranga Lions”, he has scored 4 goals and is considered one of the most promising young midfielders in Africa today.
Liverpool value Harvey Elliott at £50m
After a brilliant performance at the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, where Harvey Elliott was voted Player of the Tournament and helped England U21 win the championship, Liverpool announced that they would only sell the player if they received a minimum price of £50 million ($63.5 million).
RB Leipzig, Brighton and West Ham are all keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old midfielder, but the fee could prove a major stumbling block.
Liverpool also do not want to lose another "home-grown" player after parting ways with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jarell Quansah in the same transfer window.
