Kinhtedothi-On the morning of March 28, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City organized a scientific seminar with the theme "Continuing the heroic tradition - Da Nang strives to enter a new era", in celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang.
The workshop was chaired by Party Central Committee member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Quang; Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh; Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh; Chairman of the City People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang; Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Van Trung.
The workshop is an opportunity to affirm the correct and wise leadership role of the Party and the Party Committee of Da Nang City during the 95 years of formation and development, from the early days of laying the foundation for the revolutionary movement, steadfastly fighting in the resistance war, to the breakthrough stage, building a modern, rich and beautiful city, worthy of being the economic and social center of the Central region.
The presentations at the workshop focused on clarifying the strategic position and role of Da Nang in the Vietnamese revolutionary process; affirming that this is the "cradle of the Central region revolution" - the place that marked the formation and development of the Central Region Party Committee, the Inter-Zone V Party Committee, the Zone V Party Committee and the Quang Nam - Da Nang Provincial Party Committee. From that land, the red revolutionary seeds spread strongly, fostering an indomitable and resilient spirit, writing heroic pages in the cause of national liberation struggle.
The workshop is also an opportunity to pay tribute to generations of cadres, soldiers and people who heroically sacrificed for the cause of fighting, liberating and protecting the city; honoring the great achievements in building and developing Da Nang in the period of innovation and integration.
On the basis of glorious tradition, the workshop also recorded many enthusiastic contributions and proposed practical solutions to realize the goal of building Da Nang into a smart, ecological, livable city, reaching the regional level. In particular, striving to achieve an average annual GRDP growth rate of 2 digits is an emphasized goal.
The workshop ended with the expectation of spreading the spirit of patriotism, national pride and the will to rise of Da Nang people, contributing to educating ideals, fostering the desire to contribute in the young generation - those who will continue to write glorious history, bringing the city into a new era of development: prosperity, sustainability and happiness.
