“During the implementation process, there were many difficulties because 28 houses were located in 9 villages of the commune, the roads were difficult to travel, materials had to be transported by rudimentary means, the weather conditions were rainy and windy, foggy and wet, slippery roads directly affected the construction progress. Another objective reason was that in the recent past, Lao Cai province simultaneously organized the construction of houses for people to recover from storms and floods as well as demolish temporary houses, so the source of materials was scarce... However, with the efforts of the government and local people, the cooperation of Hoa Phat Group helped people have their dream house, spacious and clean", shared Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Quang, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs, Lao Cai Provincial Border Guard Command, who directly supervised the construction organization.
Mr. To Van Thanh, Party Secretary of Y Ty commune (formerly A Lu) thanked Hoa Phat for its support so that people could have spacious and solid houses.
Thao A De (19 years old) and her younger sister Thao Thi Nhe, residing in Phin Chai 2 village, lost both their parents in the flood after storm No. 3 in September 2024. Along with supporting the reconstruction of Lang Nu and Nam Tong, the support for the construction of 28 houses for people in A Lu commune (now Y Ty), Lao Cai is a practical action of Hoa Phat to help people rebuild after the storm and flood with solid houses, settle down, stabilize their lives, and contribute to the revival of this place.
