On the morning of July 17, more than 15,600 officers and soldiers of the armed forces participated in the first general training session to prepare for the parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 at the National Military Training Center 4 (Hanoi).
In particular, the appearance of female soldiers from many different units creates a fresh, graceful yet spirited image in the combined training formation. According to the plan, the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day will have 7 female groups from the Vietnam People's Army and 2 female groups from the People's Public Security force participating. On the training ground, the female commandos wore distinctive moss green uniforms, soft hats, rifles on their shoulders, and walked strongly, decisively, and with great spirit.
They are symbols of the bravery, intelligence and courage of the special forces that have recorded resounding victories in revolutionary history.
The female medical officers in their white and blue uniforms made a strong impression with their neatness and standard demeanor. "This year, I was lucky enough to participate in the parade twice, both in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30 and in Hanoi on National Day on September 2. Wearing the new uniform makes me even more excited and motivated to complete my mission well," said a soldier in the female medical officers.
Not only do they excellently complete their professional mission of taking care of soldiers' health, the female military medics also demonstrate their strength through each decisive and steady step.
In the military formation, the female military band always stands out for its graceful drum and trumpet beats, contributing to leading the rhythm of the entire parade formation.
Under the bright sunlight, the female musicians still smiled brightly, maintained their formation, and created a lively atmosphere on the training ground.
The female military band marched past the podium.
The group of female peacekeeping officers in green symbolizes the Vietnamese forces contributing to international missions. Not only symbolizing the peacekeeping mission at the United Nations, the formation marching in the sunlight also shows the international spirit of responsibility and pride of Vietnamese female soldiers.
Besides the female Army blocks, the People's Public Security force has the participation of two female blocks: the female traffic police block and the female special police block.
"We are honored to represent the People's Public Security force to attend the event celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day. Every step carries the pride of the industry," said a female traffic police officer.
Female traffic police officers walk rhythmically under the harsh summer sun, showing a friendly, approachable yet disciplined image.
The female special police force is likened to "steel roses", with healthy tanned skin, each step of the parade is both beautiful and strong.
The special police force represents the courage, intelligence and mettle of the People's Public Security soldiers in the fight against crime.
As planned, the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) will take place solemnly from 6:30 a.m. on September 2, 2025 at Ba Dinh Square and some central streets of the capital.
The celebration is expected to have about 30,000 attendees, not including the parade and marching forces.
The program includes solemn ceremonies such as the traditional torch procession, flag-raising ceremony, speeches by Party and State leaders, military parade, march and ends with a grand art performance by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
