Professional Training for Yoga Instructors

BTO-On the morning of March 22, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Yoga Federation organized a professional training course for Yoga instructors in Binh Thuan province in 2025.

Attending the training course were Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, representatives of the Department's professional departments, the Provincial Yoga Federation and 15 students who are currently instructing Yoga practice in the province.

Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province spoke at the opening ceremony of the training course.

At the opening ceremony of the class, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province affirmed: Yoga is not only a sport but also a method of training health, balancing the mind and improving the quality of life. With the strong development of Yoga in Vietnam, improving the professional qualifications of Yoga trainers and teachers is extremely necessary, in order to ensure the correct transmission of techniques, standardize teaching methods and bring maximum benefits to students.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province hopes that with new knowledge and appropriate, practical teaching skills from the lecturers, students will be able to apply them effectively in practice, contributing to improving the quality of Yoga teaching in the community.

The training program will take place from March 22 to April 13, including theory and practice. In particular, students will learn topics such as: general issues about the current development of Yoga; some basic issues about sports training; philosophy, history of yoga, 5 layers of the human body, chakras and hormones; methods of building teaching plans; nutrition in sports training; medical care and injury prevention in sports training; anatomy, sports physiology; treatment of common injuries in training; application of yoga therapy and practice techniques; Yoga rehabilitation...

It is known that the province currently has 40 Yoga clubs and the demand for learning and practicing Yoga is increasing. Therefore, professional training courses for Yoga instructors will create conditions for this team to complete professional certification, qualified to participate in instructing and training the subject according to current Vietnamese law.
