Ha Tu Ward Police support people to give and receive back nearly 40 million VND transferred by mistake

On July 14, Ha Tu Ward Police promptly assisted people in giving and receiving back nearly 40 million VND that was mistakenly transferred.

Previously, at 4:30 p.m. on July 14, during a money transfer transaction via a banking application, Mr. Le Trung Thanh (Dong Mai ward), a remittance employee of Sacobank, accidentally transferred nearly 40 million VND to a Vietinbank account under the name Nguyen Van Khanh.

Immediately upon receiving the above amount of money, Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Ha Tu Ward), a worker at the Ha Tu Coal Mine Vehicle Workshop 2, proactively went to the Ha Tu Ward Police to report the incident. Upon receiving the information, the Ward Police force quickly coordinated to conduct verification. After the Ha Tu Ward Police confirmed that the account number matched Mr. Thanh's information, on the evening of July 14, Mr. Khanh returned the entire amount of nearly 40 million VND to Mr. Thanh via bank transfer.

The timely and dedicated support of Ha Tu Ward Police and the proactive cooperation of Mr. Khanh are good deeds, contributing to building Ha Tu Ward to be more and more exemplary, rich, civilized and affectionate.
