Officially launched on April 19, after only 1 day, the Organizing Committee (OC) received dozens of entries from readers and writers everywhere. As of June 19, the deadline for receiving entries, nearly 700 articles had been sent to the Gia Dinh Viet Nam editorial office.
The Organizing Committee has selected quality articles to be published daily on the Vietnam Family Magazine. Based on that, the Editorial Board of Vietnam Family Magazine assigned the contest's standing committee to select articles that have made it to the preliminary round and send them to the Jury for independent scoring. The excellent entries will continue to be selected for scoring and ranking.
Journalist Ho Minh Chien, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Family Magazine, said that the contest has "touched the hearts" of many people.
The contest will have 1 First prize worth 15 million VND, 2 Second prizes worth 5 million VND each, 3 Third prizes worth 3 million VND each, 5 Consolation prizes worth 2 million VND each and 5 secondary prizes worth 1 million VND each.
Journalist Ho Minh Chien, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Family Magazine, said that at this point, the jury has basically completed the judging process. The Organizing Committee is urgently finalizing the work content to organize the award ceremony of the contest taking place on Vietnam Family Day, June 28.
“The judging is carried out in accordance with the rules and regulations of the contest. The judges will judge independently, then select the entries with the highest scores to rank the prizes. We will organize the award ceremony and summarize the contest on June 28, considering this as an activity in response to Vietnamese Family Day,” journalist Ho Minh Chien informed.
In a preliminary assessment, journalist Ho Minh Chien said that in just 2 months, the Organizing Committee received nearly 700 entries. This is a large number of entries and shows that the contest theme has "touched the hearts" of many people. In particular, most of the entries are simple, familiar, warm stories but contain many profound lessons about family life. Many articles after being published have caused strong emotions in the community, the influence of the contest is quite large.
As planned, the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the writing contest with the theme: "Father and daughter" will take place at 9:30 a.m. on June 28 at the headquarters of Vietnam Family Magazine, No. 2 Le Duc Tho, Hanoi .
