Over the past six months, the work of leading, directing and organizing research, studying and thoroughly grasping the resolutions and decisions of the Central and the province on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation has been implemented drastically.
To ensure effective implementation, the Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Development in Son La province has been established, with clear operating regulations and specific assignment of tasks to members.
The People's Committee of Son La province also issued Plan No. 142/KH-UBND and established a Steering Committee and an interdisciplinary working group to direct the implementation.
Information and propaganda work is given special priority and promoted. Son La province has issued a list of databases used and continuously provided and updated data in the open data list on the province's open data portal, creating favorable conditions for accessing information and making government operations transparent.
In the past 6 months, Son La has allocated 159 billion VND from the State budget for the field of science and technology. The province has also announced a list of major "problems" in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, clearly orienting research and development activities.
Regarding the implementation of the tasks assigned by the Central Committee, out of a total of 24 tasks of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, 8 tasks have been completed.
Of the 26 tasks according to the Conclusion Notice of the Central Steering Committee on Innovation and Digital Transformation, 12 tasks have been completed.
The tasks under Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW also recorded 15/28 tasks completed before July 1, 2025.
At the grassroots level, communes and wards have been assigned and operated headquarters, equipment, and public administration service centers. Transmission channel and data security equipment and key security equipment have also been handed over.
Regarding the operating system software transferred by the Central Government (iCPV) and the document management operating system ( vnpt -ioffice), it has been installed and supported for effective use, contributing to improving the operating capacity and serving the people.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and discussing solutions to effectively implement tasks related to science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation. The focus was on discussing facilities, human resources, Internet, etc.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, emphasized the need to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
The Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee requested relevant orders to focus on completing the tasks assigned by the Central Government and the tasks according to the province's work plan and program in 2025, especially the key tasks according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW and the announcements and plans of the Central Steering Committee.
