Notable contents include: completing the Project to establish Long Thanh Concentrated Information Technology Park; organizing conferences to popularize knowledge and skills in applying artificial intelligence (AI), organizing AI skill classes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and police officers in the area; launching movements and implementing digital literacy programs, training digital skills for people, etc.
In addition, the Department has organized training courses to improve knowledge and capacity in microchip design and semiconductor microfabrication technology for 24 lecturers and scientists ; implemented a plan to digitize documents and connect and unify information systems to serve the arrangement of provincial administrative units.

Regarding the implementation of the tasks of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, based on the 43 main targets set out in the province's plan for 2025, in the first 6 months of 2025, 17/43 targets were completed and exceeded (accounting for 39.5%). The tasks of direction and institutionalization; raising awareness; digital transformation and administrative reform; developing infrastructure and digital platforms; developing human resources and cooperation also achieved many positive results.
Director of the Department of Science and Technology Pham Van Trinh said that in the coming time, the Department will continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and innovation to carry out the assigned tasks. In particular, the Department will review and focus on implementing tasks and goals in the last months of the year, especially tasks and goals on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW in the province.

Speaking at the working session, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son emphasized that the Department of Science and Technology needs to review and evaluate key and important tasks to prioritize implementation in the last months of the year. In particular, the Department needs to consider and develop a plan to implement KPI-based staff assessment for the Department's key tasks and solutions in the coming time; assign specific tasks and powers to leaders and staff when monitoring and implementing key and urgent tasks and contents to ensure progress and set goals.
The provincial leaders also requested the Department of Science and Technology to continue supporting localities in applying technology to operate two-level local governments effectively and smoothly. At the same time, promote solutions to develop digital government, digital economy , society, connect businesses and schools to promote innovation, startup ecosystem, effectively implement topics on science and technology, etc.
In particular, the Department needs to select outstanding models and enterprises to pilot the development of solutions and models on digital economy, digital society, innovation, etc., thereby evaluating and drawing lessons to replicate and promote effective models with high applicability, making practical contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality.
