According to L'Equipe , the 2024/25 AFC Champions League champions are very serious about recruiting M10, with the goal of bringing him to play next December. Currently, M10 has 6 months left on his contract with Inter Miami, meaning he is free to negotiate with other clubs.

Details of Al Ahli's offer have not been revealed, but sources say the Saudi Arabian club is "ready to do everything to own Messi". If this deal is successful, fans will witness a dramatic reunion between Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, two legends of world football.

If he joins Al Ahli, Messi will join stars who have played in Europe such as Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino and Ivan Toney. The Saudi Arabian club is backed by the country's Public Investment Fund (PIF) to build a fighting squad, ready to compete for any title.

Before Al Ahli, Messi was contacted by Al Hilal in 2023. The club was willing to sign a £1.5 billion three-year contract with M10 but was rejected by the striker.

Currently, ESPN said Messi is in the process of negotiating a contract extension with Inter Miami. Club owner Jorge Mas has clearly expressed his desire to prolong Messi's presence at the club.

Messi dribbled past 4 players to score In round 21 of the Major League Soccer (MLS), Lionel Messi soloed past 4 opposing defenders to score, helping Inter Miami defeat CF Montreal 4-1 away from home.
