Accordingly, at the My Phong Ward Public Administration Service Center, the working atmosphere took place urgently and seriously. Although the organizational structure has just been rearranged, all activities of receiving and handling administrative procedures for people are still maintained stably and smoothly.
According to Chairman of My Phong Ward People's Committee Tran Minh Thuan, right before the official merger date (July 1), the ward leaders organized many joint working sessions to agree on personnel plans, work processing procedures, facilities and arrange the department to receive documents.
“Regarding facilities, we have surveyed and rearranged them according to regulations, divided the working premises, and notified people to grasp the new transaction locations for more convenient and easier contact, without interrupting people's work as well as state management work. The ward has also conducted training for officials and civil servants, tested the simulations; installed all the machines of the My Phong Ward Public Administration Service Center. The network lines have all been connected and in the morning, 4 or 5 files have been processed, ensuring basic stability" - said comrade Tran Minh Thuan.

To ensure good service to the people, My Phong Ward People's Committee has proactively arranged additional guidance desks, divided the flow of receiving documents, and increased support staff in the initial phase. Administrative procedures related to the two old areas are still fully implemented, uniformly and publicly.
In addition, the ward also received many positive feedbacks from the people on the first working day. Ms. Kieu, a resident of My Phong ward, shared: “Today, I went to the My Phong Ward Public Administration Service Center to make a land ownership certificate. The staff here were very enthusiastic and explained in detail so that people could clearly understand the paperwork process. Through that, I also understood the process and needed to prepare the documents in advance to be able to do it quickly.”
In fact, on the first day, all the documents received at the one-stop-shop were processed according to the procedure, without any backlog. Officials from the old wards took turns taking on appropriate positions, coordinating work operations, creating a seamless connection in serving the people.
The merger of administrative units is a turning point, especially for densely populated and large localities. However, with a sense of responsibility, openness to learning and the synchronous participation of the entire political system, the first day has shown a smooth and positive start.
People are assured, officials are determined, that is the premise for the new ward model to continue to improve, towards a truly service-oriented administration. In the coming period, trust and consensus from both sides will be the key to success in the process of reforming the local administrative apparatus.
