Party Secretary, Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Viet, on behalf of the ward leaders, sent greetings to all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who have come to "share one roof" - Dong Da Ward.
Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Viet also requested that all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers quickly stabilize their thinking, determine a new mindset, new determination, and new spirit.
“We still keep the old mindset to approach new problems, which is to remove ourselves from the cycle. The political system has been streamlined, removing intermediate levels, shifting from administrative management to a creative and serving government. Civil servants must consider it an honor to serve the people, taking the satisfaction and happiness of the people as the measure and goal of their work,” emphasized comrade Nguyen Ngoc Viet.
The Secretary of the Dong Da Ward Party Committee also noted that, in the current period, the units under the ward need to pay attention to handling procedures for people and businesses to ensure smoothness and no interruptions; do a good job of social security; pay special attention to urban order management, environmental sanitation and fire and explosion prevention and control...
“Each cadre and civil servant needs to improve their public service skills, approach new things, and digital transformation; promote the application of information technology, considering it a mandatory task in the digital transformation era; self-improve qualifications, master electronic administrative software, considering this a "popular digital education" that everyone must know and be able to do,” Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Viet suggested.
The political meeting ended at 7:45 a.m., immediately after that, the ward's cadres, civil servants and public employees entered the first official working day under the two-level local government model.
It was noted that in the early morning of July 1, many people came to the Dong Da Ward Public Administration Service Reception Point to carry out transactions. Mr. Nguyen Van Phu (Thai Thinh Street) came to do administrative procedures and expressed his satisfaction when seeing the modern facilities and equipment, professional, attentive and enthusiastic working team.
“The first day I came to work here, I felt very comfortable and satisfied. The staff who received the people were open, thoughtful and enthusiastic. I felt a clear change from a three-tier government model to a two-tier one. We are very excited, this is in line with the people's wishes and the development trend of society,” said Mr. Phu.
