According to the leader of Lang Son Electricity Company, after the announcement of the electricity bill for June 2025 was sent to electricity customers in Lang Son province, many electricity customers reported to the company that the electricity consumption index and the electricity bill for June 2025 had to be paid higher than that of May 2025.
To ensure transparency in recording electricity meter readings, immediately after receiving customers' petitions, Lang Son Electricity Company directed regional electricity management teams to inspect and re-examine the readings and operating status of electricity meters of more than 1,000 customers, most of whom are households.
After the re-inspection, the results of all the electricity meter indicators were correct, the meters were operating accurately. Notably, when conducting the re-inspection, the electricity management teams in the area also removed the meters with the customers and brought them to a specialized agency for inspection in front of the customers. All customers using electricity whose electricity bills increased by more than 30% compared to the previous month when re-inspected agreed with the re-inspection results of the electricity units.
